San José is the capital and largest city of Costa Rica. It was founded in 1738 and is one of the youngest capital cities in Latin America. In December 2007, there were 350,535 people inhabiting this city. San José is a great place for any tourist.
San José is home to El Pueblo, which is a mix of more than 50 bars, clubs, restaurants, shops, and art galleries. There are many hotels and resorts, which makes this a very lively-town at night. Calle de la Amargura in San Pedro is a great place for university students as well. There is also a theme park called Pueblo Antiguo, which has many museums and is located in San José’s only major theme park, “El Parque de Diversiones de Costa Rica”.
If you are looking to get away from it all in a nice and culturally-rich place, then San José, Costa Rica just may be the place for you! Find out more information on this place here!

This seems like a great place to go to if I ever want to leave the United States!
