Located in the Southwestern region of the United States, Santa Fe is the capital city in the state of New Mexico. Each year, tourists are drawn to Santa Fe for its climate and outdoor activities that come along with it, such as skiing in the winter and hiking in the summer.

However, Santa Fe is best known for its involvement in the arts which truly shows its multicultural history.

Many artists live in Santa Fe and have spent years drawing based on inspiration from the environment. One of the best-known artists to do this was Georgia O’Keeffe. After a long period of time, her works have been complied to form the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, which features over 1,000 of such pieces.

The highest concentration of art galleries in the city are located at Canyon Road. The market for the arts shown here is one of the largest in the entire United States. There are a number of different styles of art that are sold, displaying a high concentration on the Southwestern and Native American styles.

Santa Fe is a marvelous city to explore on vacation. It is a city filled with multicultural influences unlike any other place. It also has outdoor activities to do in some of the most beautiful scenic areas in the United States. These elements combined with the phenomenal art galleries make for a dual vacation of both adventure and learning.
