Scottsdale is a city located in the state of Arizona in Maricopa County. Most notable about Scottsdale is the shopping and nightlife that the city offers.
Scottsdale is also known as the capital of Southwestern art and culture. In fact, Scottsdale has recently grown much respect for its collection of modern and contemporary arts. Downtown Scottsdale contains the majority of museums and galleries that are open to the public.
The upscale shopping in Scottsdale is offered at a higher rate than nearly any other place in the United States. For example, the Scottsdale Fashion Square is one of the most profitable malls in the country and contains nearly every major department store.
As for the night life in Scottsdale, the Downtown area contains a plethora of bars, clubs, and hotels. The great thing about this area is that most of the places are all located within walking distance of each other.
The culture, arts, shopping, and night life make for an expensive, yet enjoyable vacation in Scottsdale.
I've been to the Scottsdale Fashion Square before it is amazing.
